Editor note: Jeff Long, the University of Arkansas athletic director, should scratch one reason from his list for why the Razorbacks need millions of dollars worth of facilities improvement: that it would help recruiting.
It's a tired refrain to cite recruiting as suffering because Arkansas doesn't have a basketball practice facility like Ole Miss has or doesn't have a better football locker-room or bigger offices for its coaches. The results at Fayetteville over the years don't bear out the adage that
