Football practice set to begin

University of Arkansas football head coach Bobby Petrino has opened pre-season camp with the 2010 Razorback team. The Razorbacks hit the field for the first time Thursday, Aug. 5, in preparation for the upcoming season.
Coach Petrino announced that all outdoor practices from Aug. 5-18 and on Aug. 21 will be open to the public. Practices held on the outdoor practice fields or in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium are open to the public. However, practices held inside the Walker Pavilion will not be open to the public due to space constraints.
Fans attending practices should adhere to the following policies:
2010 August Practice Fan Policies
1. Fans should sit in designated seating areas
2. Due to the terrain of the seating areas, no lawn chairs will be allowed
3. The use of cell phones is prohibited
4. Any photography or video taping of practice is prohibited with the exception of media outlets during the first 20 minutes of the workouts
5. Children should not be left unattended at practice
6. No pets may be brought inside the practice area
7. No autographs will be allowed inside the practice area
Fans are encouraged to check ArkansasRazorbacks.com for updated practice times and updates on pre-season practice. Listed below is a tentative schedule of practice times. Please note practice dates and times are subject to change:
August 5 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Newcomers)
6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. (Veterans)
August 6 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Newcomers)
6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. (Veterans)
August 7 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Veterans)
6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. (Newcomers)
August 8 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. (Veterans)
3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. (Newcomers)
August 9 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
August 10 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
August 11 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
August 12 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
