 Edith Fletcher . "champeen lemonade maker"

Edith Marie Fletcher, 81, of Fayetteville, AR passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 in Fayetteville. She was born September 14, 1928 in Little Rock, AR the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Edith Simpkins Fletcher.

Ms. Fletcher had degrees from the University of Arkansas and Texas A&M. An accomplished pianist, composer and writer, she was Editor in Chief of PoliticalPosts.com from 2000 until her death. A master gardener, artist and poet, Ms. Fletcher searched for the good in everything.

She is survived by her daughters Angie Pratt and Kelly Pugh whom she lived with in Fayetteville the past 5 years. In addition to her two daughters, she is survived by 2 sons, Richard F. Pratt and wife Melanie of Eudora and Jon D. Pratt and his wife Melinda of Ruston, LA. 13 grandchildren: Sara Jane, Karen Ann, Fran, Lyle, Morgan, Kiplyn, Zack, Elizabeth, Allison, Rachel, Abigail, Deborah, and Jesse Rose. 3 great grandchildren: Garrett, Logan, and Jackson.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 7th in Little Rock at Rose Lawn Cemetery at 11 A.M.
