Wow … it nearly boggles the mind. What do you say about the Razorback offense? Anything you think of seems almost superfluous.

And … I told you so.

But golly … what does it all mean … the game as a whole? We certainly have a much of stats to crunch. Let’s start with Ryan Mallet.

PASSING Cmp-Att-Int Yds TD Long Sack
Ryan Mallett 21-39-0 408 5 48 2
Totals... 21-39-0 408 5 48 2

Ryan Mallet – new tracker – whose jersey flies off the shelf fastest? Cox or Mallet? My money’s on Mallet and Arkansas’ support of the Razorbacks. If we had won the game … He’d have been player of the week across this country. As it is … Cox probably gets my vote.

What did we learn? Ryan Mallet is going to have every passing record – given no injury – before he leaves for the first round of the NFL. Petrino has a player who is embracing his style of play. A match made in Hog Heaven.

We also learned that jitters can affect anybody and everybody. When Mallet settles down … and he will … he’ll make the have to plays, too. Sooner than later, he’s going to be cool as a cucumber in the backfield.

You can also bet he’s got a brand new target on his back. We aren’t going to be sneaking up on anybody. Alabama will be watching his game footage. Because the way to stop Arkansas is to stop Ryan Mallet … and score more points … that’s subject deserves its own post.

Alabama Loves to Rush the QB ANGIE 869 Days ago

You can bet Alabama is going to be blitzing.

Our O'Line did a pretty good job against Georgia.

Except for the 80 yarder by Gerogia, the Defense stopped the run for the most part.

I sure hope I'm not just all wet when I've got more faith than many that our defense will not kill us every single time

I have confidence that BP will have a plan in place that will be full of quick dump-off passes and slants.  We will burn them a couple times and that will cause Nick Saban to back off.
