Editor note: The Northwest Arkansas Times has gone subscription. The morning news is "merging" with the NWA Times. How long before The Morning News articles go up behind a Subscription fence?

I'm not Sure I've stated this clearly enough. It is my goal for everybody who uses the site to do so free of charge -- I plan on collecting "your subscription fees" directly from advertiser. Yes... you have to earn you keep (which is not a subject for the open board) but... it should be easy and passive for the most part.

But ... if The morning news goes behind the cover ... well ... This inquiring mind wants to know what your thoughts are?

I have an interesting side note that I'll discuss elsewhere as well.

I need a redact button.

I haven't paid a subscription rate yet...It just means they don't want me to read anything their advitisers (sp?) have to say...

If you (thehogboard) pays one subscription to a paper, can it then be posted on the Board without further cost?  I'm more than a little dumb on this!

I wouldn't subscribe to such an insignificant paper.  All these folks today seem to only care about all the profit they can get.  Angie, I really appreciate that you keep this site gratis.  Yes, the advertisers should keep that side of it up, but we have to be here, and post.  I've always enjoyed your work.   n5
